Every company has their own pattern, they all look the same to me. How do you pick one? Do you match it to your exact terrain or just buy what's on sale?

I pick whatever’s cheapest. Deer haven’t complained about my fashion choices yet.

I pretty much only buy solids anymore. Camouflage doesn’t do that much for you. I will wear some when I’m duck hunting, maybe turkey hunting. Even then, wind and movement are the things that will get you busted no matter what.

I mostly buy Realtree Edge because it works well enough in the eastern woods and usually drops in price at Academy after the season ends.

Back in the day red and black wool plaid for November deer hunting with rifles. Other times one might use green and black plaid. Than we had to go to blaze orange because of idiots. And then camouflaged blaze orange and a whole host of other camouflaged colors to match the terrain. I think it's just a marketing gimmick myself.

Green and black plaid or other earth tone plaids when blaze orange is not required and blaze orange camouflage when the law requires blaze orange and one is good to go.
