Stockpiling during normal times

After the last few years of shortages, I buy extra whenever I see decent prices. My partner thinks I'm crazy but I'd rather have too much than run out again. Anyone else stockpile now or do you just buy as needed?

Hard to spend money if you stockpiled when prices were reasonable, but I try to support the local gun stores so the occasional purchase occurs.

Same here, a little extra brings peace of mind. I still grab deals locally when prices make sense.

I always keep a supply of ammo, nothing crazy, but enough, so I don't make dumb choices if there's a shortage. Knowing I have enough makes me feel better than getting a good deal.

Building a reserve since 2021, when ever I can. I'm shooting heavy for caliber so it's tough to find locally. Have found some knock off powder (from pulled rounds) that I can get at very good prices and large quantities so I have that to fall back on if needed.
