I have two single actions in .45 Colt, two 1911s in .45 ACP so should I think about an Anaconda in .45 Colt or a Python in .357 mag. I'm thinking once I can go get my 1885 Winchester clone I might sell my Uberti/Cimarron 1873, Barretta 80X Cheetah and possibility my Walther PPK/s to fund a Python .357 mag. with a 8" barrel as probably the best option for range shooting out to 100 yards maybe more. I could also put a pistol scope on for longer range shooting.

Now Royal blue or stainless steel. Decisions, decisions. I'm leaning Royal Blue. If I do this I'll keep everybody informed.

Royal Blue would be my pick, stainless is practical but a Python just looks right in that deep blued finish.

That is most likely how I will go as this would strictly be a range gun and no holster. A nice padded case for that puppy if I go that way.

The Python in 357, with the eight-inch barrel, is something else. The royal blue finish has some wear but it looks classic. For pure fun at the range, that trigger and balance are tough to top.

Well I have now received my C. Sharps Arms 1885 rifle so that is now top priority to get up and running. The Python if ever is now on hold. Besides at almost 79 how many guns do I need? :D

Of course the wife at 75 hasn't decided she has enough material for quilting! :D:D

Right. I tell people we could not have kids because I shoot and she quilts. I have a long bow that I used to shoot until I injured my back. Do miss not shooting the long bow.
