Some people pick up shooting easy. I've practiced for years and I'm still just okay. Is shooting ability something you're born with or can anyone get good with enough practice?
It's a lot like a guy who can throw a 100MPH fast ball. No pitching coach can make a 100MPH fast ball pitcher but a pitching coach can train the pitcher to put the ball over the plate. You either have an innate ability to be a great shooter or you don't. A good coach can teach and train you to be a very good shooter but not a great shooter.
I think practice on controlling your breathing makes the biggest difference for me. Doesn't matter what rifle I pick up, I seem to shoot them consistently well with breath control and a gentle trigger squeeze.
