It must have been over 50 on him, and I spent an hour pulling them off. It felt really terrible. He now gets treated before every trip, how do you folks protect them?

The first time I found a ton of ticks on my dog, it was the worst. I make sure he's treated before every trip and I give him a once-over before he even gets in the truck. Not taking any chances these days.

Mine collected so many ticks one time, I thought he was bringing me woodland souvenirs.

Warm weather means early tick season. It's easy to keep ticks off people, just eat lots of garlic and they will crawl around and not bite. But garlic is toxic to dogs so you shouldn't give them any. What kind of treatment are you guys using?
