Dear MSSA Friends,
The MSSA Annual Meeting will be held, per our Bylaws, on the first Saturday in March in Helena. That will be on March 7th, beginning at 10:30 AM, at the Best Western Capitol hotel at 1714 7th Avenue (formerly Jorgenson's). We will take a short break for lunch and try to finish by 3:00 PM.
This MSSA's business meeting. The agenda will include an annual report about MSSA activity over the past year, selection of MSSA's legislative agenda for the 2027 legislative session, and election of officers and Directors. MSSA has a nine-member Board of Directors, the members of which serve staggered, three-year terms. Three are elected each year for a three-year term. Officers are elected annually for a one-year term. (See https://www.mtssa.org/leadership/)
MSSA members are invited to attend and participate in the election. Interested others are welcome to attend.
Over the past two years, MSSA has been working with the Mineral County Shooting Sports Association to help them create their 1,000-yard range near Superior. On April 29th, MSSA will host a long range rifle match to inaugurate this range. This will be more of a fun match than a heavy competition. Mark this on your calendar if you'd like to come play. I will soon get out another email about this match with more detail.
Best wishes,
--

Hope to see you there. Unless I'm sick or dead I'll be there.
