I tried a chassis rifle for the first time at a precision rifle event. My first group was terrible, my second group was worse and my third group was acceptable. So, I'm sold...

Sounds about right, precision rifles have a funny way of humbling you first, then quietly convincing your wallet it needs one immediately.

The first time I tried a chassis rifle, it felt weird but the stability won me over. Once you get used to that setup, it starts to make sense fast.

Chassis rifles will spoil you pretty quickly. My first few groups with one were total garbage but then something just clicked. I find myself looking to buy one even though my wallet is absolutely protesting.

That first time I tried working with one of those, it felt like I was just getting knocked down over and over again. You get this urge to chase after it, instead of just letting it do its thing and settle. But then, I finally decided to slow my pace and that's when everything just started falling into place.
