Best 9mm Carry Ammo Recommendations

I'm new to concealed carry and trying to choose the right 9mm ammo. What hollow points do you all trust for personal protection? Would love to hear your experiences!

i haven't had to shoot anyone ......yet ....but for putting down smaller critters like dogs just regular cheap range ammo seems to work well...
A lot depends if your most likely scenario will be in a apartment or with a lot of people around, then I would look for something that doesn't over penetrate...
The trickest ammo in the world only works if you hit your target.....So practice with whatever ammo you end up with.
