Let's see what everyone's driving to trailheads. I want to hear about the vehicles that just won't quit.
Drop your make, model, and mileage below. Bonus points if you've got a story about it getting you out of a bad situation..

Back when I was hunting my long bow and my handgun were my primary hunting tools.

My 2015 Toyota Tacoma has 180,000 miles on it. It’s seen it all and it's never quit on me. Even pulled my buddy's truck out of a ditch once.

That’s exactly why Tacomas get legendary status. 180k and still saving the day is impressive.

What were you usually hunting?
Mostly Mulies and Pronghorns. I usually had a tag for elk and bear but never really tried all that hard for either. I just like to hike in the woods and mountains in the Fall and carry just in case something legal came my way. Both were light to carry instead of a rifle.

My 2006 Tundra has about 345,000 miles on it and keeps on running. I have a SxS too, but the pickup with an 8' bed is easier to load Elk into. I keep a sheet of 3/4" plywood in the bed and use it as a ramp to come-a-long the carcass into the back.
