Holstered gun safety

I think carrying a gun in a good holster is super safe. If the holster covers the trigger and stays open, the gun's secure until you need it. I was nervous at first and checked it constantly but after carrying every day for years while doing all sorts of stuff, my holstered gun has never been unsafe.

So, yeah, I feel it's safe if you have a good holster that fits the gun right and protects the trigger. Has anyone ever had a holster mess up on them?

I feel the same, a quality holster that fully covers the trigger and holds the gun securely is extremely safe. I’ve carried for years with zero issues

I had a cheap holster give out on me once, switched to molded Kydex and haven't had any issues since

I like quality leather but quality is more expensive than cheap no doubt about that.

Being safe means having the right gear and being careful. Always check your holster is clear before putting your gun back.
