Now that hunting is just around the corner the rifle ranges are real busy so I've turned to the pistol/revolver range. Saturday I shot my 1911 and my Ruger Super Wrangler in .22 mag. Looks like Friday is another good day for the pistol/revovler range at least until the crap hits the fan and then it's indoor shooting range time.

I love it when the indoor pistol range is empty.... of course the time I go to the range pretty much gives me an edge since it's around 5am... yes we can access our range 24/7 unless closed for cleaning.

I hear you, I've been hitting the pistol range too, my 1911 and Ruger .22 are getting plenty of action. It's a great way to keep skills sharp before the hunting season

Ya I got in some shooting with the 1911 before the rain started. Even made it to the Avon café for dinner and back. Sure looking like rain right now 19:18. Maybe next week I'll shoot the Wilson 1911. I've been shooting my Colt/Wilson hybrid.

Nothing wrong with putting time in on the 1911 and the Ruger. Friday range days beat waiting in line once season chaos kicks in
