Just got back from a few hours on the river here in Montana. Targeting some smallmouths today, and it was a mixed bag. The water was running a bit high, but the visibility wasn't terrible. I tossed around a jerkbait and managed to pull a couple of decent 2-3 pounders out. Lost another one that felt bigger, right at the boat—classic. Went solo this time, and of course, forgot my pliers again. How's it looking for everyone else? Any luck out there?
