Constant carry in a fanny pack and the need to clean and lube.

I sometimes concealed carry in a fanny pack and my smaller cheaper semi auto pistols seem to need a lot of cleaning or they won't cycle....no shooting involved just carry. have taken to hitting them with brake cleaner and then spraying down with aerosol rem oil.. Anybody else have any ideas to keep a gun functioning?

I've had the same issue with carry pistols. I recommend a light wipe-down with CLP or gun oil regularly, plus using a soft cloth inside the holster/fanny pack to reduce debris buildup

A fanny pack sounds like a magnet for lint and junk. The best thing you can do is get a small Kydex holster to put inside the pack. It'll protect the gun and keep all that gunk out of the action, also use a good gun grease on the rail, it stays put better than oil
