Here's a couple of things that might be of interest to anyone who might buy a 80X Cheetah.

1. I have my Cheetah at the gunsmith to have the screws that hold down rear sight as it keeps shooting lose lock tited down. Only flaw I can find after hundreds of rounds.

2. When re- assembled after cleaning put the slide on than use your hand (make sure the auto is empty) and push the barrel rearward until the take down lever clicks back in place.

Good stuff, I appreciate the heads-up. Have you noticed any other quirks with the 80X Cheetah after running it for a while, or is that rear-sight screw issue really the only downside so far?

I've been eyeing the 80X Cheetah myself, kinda fancy the idea of a compact .380 that still feels good in the hand. I heard the trigger's smoother than the older models and the grip angle makes follow-up shots quicker. Have you noticed that in your shooting? @Quark

Compare to my Walther PPK/s the Cheetah is smooth and easy on the hand. The double action is much lighter on the Cheetah than the PPK/s.
